MICE Card
Solutions of the Engineering and R&D Department of ENA Tecnología
The Communications Interface Module (MICE) is a card developed by ENA Tecnología suitable for installation in on-board sub-racks.
MICE has a number of interfaces that provide great adaptability as a communications interface.
It has different ports: ETHERNET, CAN, serial (configurable as RS232 or RS485) and USB. These ports, depending on the manufactured configuration, will be available to be used in the different software designed applications. They are isolated from each other and from the system with a dielectric strength not lower than 2500 volts.
A microSD memory socket is also available for storing information of interest.
A supercapacitor is used to conserve the date, providing roughly 30 days of autonomy. This makes it possible to do without batteries, with the resulting benefit for the environment.
