EN-1156 Solar Controller

Description

The Photovoltaic Regulator EN-1156 is in charge of handling the energy of the photovoltaic power subsystem.

Its features are:

  • Hold battery charge by photovoltaic panels.
  • Monitor the battery charging status, generating the appropriate warnings to alert the system when this status is low.
  • Provide other equipment with the required supply voltage.
  • In case of excessive discharge, protect the battery against complete exhaustion by disconnecting the output that powers the installation.

It is a PWM type regulator that can manage up to 20A of battery charge current, specially designed for low consumption environments, with a consumption under 150 mW when no panel is generating energy.

The EN-1156 Regulator, due to its high degree of configuration, is prepared to be used with any type of battery: lead, NiCd, Lithium, etc.
